Senator Baldwin started by recognizing the enormous sacrifice that average Ukrainians have been making for more than eight years, but especially since February, and the commencement of Putin’s latest stage of his inhumane and illegal war.
Senator Baldwin then continued by saying that instead of a divided and fractured Europe and western alliance, Putin got a stronger and more resilient NATO, the alliance is stronger than ever before, and we have all rallied to provide the support Ukraine needs to defend itself and that support will continue.
