Chilean politician Jorge Pizarro Soto served as the President of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino) for the 2019–2021 term. During his tenure, he focused on regional legislative cooperation, public health and food security during the COVID-19 pandemic, and security initiatives.
