Major General Nestor C. Herico, PN(M)(Ret), hailed from Zamboanga City, is a distinguished former Commandant of the Philippine Marine Corps, renowned for his exemplary leadership, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to duty. In less than a month after his retirement, he was officially appointed as the Deputy Director General for Partnership and Engagement of the National Security Council last August 10, 2022.
