29th Parliamentary-Intelligence Security Forum – Special Remarks
Intelligence and Security, explaining that he could not attend in person due to intense budget reconciliation negotiations. Issa stressed that the U.S. vision for AI prioritizes innovation over heavy regulation and personal freedom over authoritarian control. He warned against allowing China to dominate AI development, positioning it as a tool for free minds, free people, and free markets. Issa concluded by affirming that the U.S., under new leadership, remains a trusted partner dedicated to safeguarding security, liberty, and the well-being of future generations.
